Many MCPSS schools are observing Black History Month with special programs and activities throughout February. In celebration of this important time, our school will host a Black History Celebration Day on Thursday, February 26th.

Students will participate in meaningful activities that honor and recognize the contributions, achievements, and impact of African Americans in history and society. This day will be a wonderful opportunity for learning, reflection, and celebration.

Mrs. Fields brings 26 years of experience with the Mobile County Public School System, having served as a 5th-grade teacher, guidance counselor at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and most recently as our Title I Facilitator and Math Interventionist right here at Indian Springs. Her dedication to students and leadership made this promotion well deserved!

She is a proud Alabama State University graduate—Go Hornets! 🐝 with a B.S. in Elementary Education, M.Ed. in School Counseling, and M.Ed. in Educational Administration.
