Students received detailed information about the contest today, and we encourage them to unleash their creativity! Winners in each category and division will have the exciting honor of having their posters featured in the promotion of the 2026 MCPSS Film Festival. In addition, they will be recognized at the Film Festival ceremony!

For the 2025-2026 school year, clear backpacks will be required for all students. Indian Springs Elementary will provide a clear backpack for each enrolled student.

With PTO's help, Ms. Byrd transformed her classroom into an underwater wonderscape to take her students on a virtual fieldtrip.


Indian Springs Elementary's Learning Leading Award winner, Zion Phillips, is a student of unwavering integrity who believes in doing what’s right and encourages her peers to do so, as well. She regularly checks in on her teachers and takes the initiative to help classmates who may be struggling. Teacher of the Year Luncheon! Celebrating Mrs. Krause!


PTA and Nature Club showed up in a big way to beautify our campus. A grant from Keep Mobile Beautiful allowed us to add a pollinator garden near our new outdoor classroom. More pics to come!
